1. What Amplify Artist OS is

Amplify Artist OS is a workspace for independent musicians and the people who work with them: songwriting, releases, promotion, fans, money, storefront, collaborators and press, in one place.

Amplify is software. It is not a label, publisher, distributor, accountant, lawyer or manager. We do not collect your royalties, register your rights, distribute your music or file anything on your behalf. Nothing in the product is financial, tax or legal advice.

2. Your account and your workspaces

You need an account to use Amplify. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity of people you invite into a workspace.

Each artist is a workspace. A workspace has an owner and can have members with different roles. The owner and admins control membership, billing and sensitive settings. If you invite someone, you are choosing to share that workspace's data with them at the level their role allows.

3. Your work stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you create and upload: lyrics, recordings, artwork, copy, fan lists, financial records and business data. Amplify claims no ownership of your material and no rights in your compositions, recordings, masters, trademarks or catalogue.

To operate the service we need a limited permission: to store, copy, transmit, back up and display your material to you and to the people you have given access, and to process it as needed to provide the features you use. That permission exists only to run the product for you, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the material or your account, subject to backups aging out and records we must keep.

When you deliberately publish something — a press kit, a storefront — you are asking us to show that specific content publicly. That is the only case where your material becomes visible beyond your workspace.

We do not use your lyrics, recordings, fan data or business records to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

4. AI assistance

Amplify's AI features are assistants. They interview, organise, summarise and suggest. They are not intended to write your songs for you, and the product is deliberately built so the artist stays the author.

AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything you publish, send or rely on. Amplify labels AI suggestions where they appear so you can tell them apart from your own writing.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Your Stripe subscription is the source of truth for what you are on, what you pay and when it renews.

6. Acceptable use

The Acceptable use policy sets out what you may not do with Amplify — including uploading material you have no right to use, sending unsolicited mail to people who never opted in, and attacking or probing the service. It is part of these terms.

7. Founding beta

Amplify is in a founding beta. Features change, some are incomplete, and occasional interruptions are possible. There is no uptime guarantee and no service credit at this stage.

The product is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Amplify is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data beyond what we are required to accept.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Your work should never exist only inside one product, including ours.

8. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can cancel a subscription or ask us to delete your account at any time. See the Billing policy for what cancellation does, and Settings for the data export and deletion request.

We may suspend or end access if an account breaches the Acceptable use policy, creates legal risk for other artists, or is used to attack the service. Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.

9. Changes, governing terms and contact

We version these documents. When an acceptance-gated policy changes materially we record a new version and ask you to accept it. The version and effective date at the top of this page identify what currently applies. Questions: support@amplifyforartists.com.

The governing law and dispute-resolution venue for these terms are an open business decision and have not been set. They must be settled with counsel before Amplify is offered outside the founding beta.
